The teaser trailer for Toy Story 4 was released by in November 2018 and was announced to be released summer 2018 or June 21, 2018, with updated information. And it sure does make people feel old of the nine-year gap since the last movie back in 2010. However, theories are saying that the film will be an emotional ride. Such as one where people say that this 4th movie takes place far into the future and the toys found Andy on a road trip. Andy would probably be in his late 70s or 80s.

Moreover, the voice actor for Woody described the ending to be very hard and emotional for him. This leads to fans thinking that Andy will pass away with his toys being there with him in his last moments. Despite these types of theories, we can still enjoy the nostalgia when it comes out.
