Since Black History month is almost ending I want to showcase people who really made waves in this world and have made an impact on our generation! Black History Month has showcased prominent figures that really helped American Culture and how they fought through many battles by maintaining their identity and that is commerarative. They have made their names and legacy in this world and I think We should Acknowledge their talent, Their contribution and their Impact in The music Industry!.

Nicki Minaj

One of my favorite people and have been for a very long time, Is Nicki Minaj! She has been a prominent figure throughout many people’s experience growing up. From her Mixtapes to her album queen. Minaj is no stranger to music and collabs when you hear the Queen's name. She opened a lot of doors for women coming into the new age of industry and has managed to hold her status as the queen of rap for over a decade.

Whitney Huston

One of the most prominent figures of all and was the voice of a general youth and adults was no other than Whitney Huston herself. Her Vocal abilities made her a superstar as when she was a kid she was a part of a choir group and gradually later on she wanted to expand her vocal talent as a songstress. She was the most awarded female artist of all time in the Guiness book of world record which is amazing for such an Icon! Her crossover appeal on the popular music charts as well as her prominence on MTV influenced several African-American female artists.

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was a legendary artist who broke several records, overcame racial boundaries, and revolutionized the music industry. His groundbreaking creativity paved the way for others and changed the traditional patterns of song promotion and production. His title as the King of pop has made him the blueprint of what pop music has become. He will always be the King of Pop!

Prince Rogers Nelson was an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, dancer, actor, and director. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest musicians of his generation winning around 9 grammys In his career life span. His albums gave us a lot of Hits, performance and was unapologetically himself. He expressed himself with music and was never afraid of what people saw him was. He was a generation musician who really made iconic Bops in the Music Industry.

Beyonce

Beyonce Knowles is no stranger in the music industry, she has a status of someone who is even above celebrities! She is admired by all and her album and songs have been a reflection of her work as an artist. She was known at first in the Destinys Child and overtime she has expanded her music career over time which is very iconic to this day and has amassed 22 grammys in her name. This makes her a powerful force in the industry. She is not only a musician but also a performer, director, businesswoman and many of the other things! She has cemented her foothold in the music industry as one of a kind and to this day, her name is still being talked about.
